Our goals
At Montessori Stepping Stones we follow the Montessori Philosophy which emphasizes the individuality of each child. We understand and accept that each child is a special and unique individual and a beautiful gift entrusted into our care. Our main goals are:
- Facilitate the individual development of the child, both physical and mental, through a system that is focused on spontaneous use of the human intellect.
- Reinforce the child’s innate love of learning and exploration that will last throughout all their future life.
- Create in the child the sense of independence, self-discipline, concentration motivation and sensitivity to things around him.
- Help each child develop their self confidence by not filling the child with facts but rather to cultivate his own natural desire to learn.
